This project was jointly funded through a low-interest loan of approximately $2,750,000 from the Department of Environmental Quality Clean Water State Revolving Fund (DEQ-CWSRF) program and a $108,000 grant from the Economic Development Administration. The project consisted of installing a fine bubble aeration system within the existing primary lagoon, installing an 80' diameter clarifier wiithin a pre-stressed concrete tank, and installing a cloth media filter. The project also included the rehabilitation of two in-plant lift stations and two lift stations within the City of Oakdale's collection system. The renovations to the in-plant lift stations included pump replacement and miscellaneous electrical work, as well as minor renovations to the wet wells. The improvements to the lift stations within the collection system included complete replacement of the lift station, including new wet wells, self-priming pumps, and related appurtenances. Meyer, Meyer, LaCroix & Hixson, Inc. prepared the initial funding applications, performed preliminary engineering and environmental reviews, provided civil engineering design services, preliminary and final plans, bidding services, construction admninistration and inspection for this wastewater teatment plan improvement project.
